Well there you go...

So exercised for a month and I don't see any results. Well that's not true, I did feel like I was slimming on the backside but when I weighed myself after a month I weighed the same :p Then we went to the beach last week and I saw a pic of myself and I was like what the frack? I look the same, boo! So back from the beach now and I'm in the dumps. But alas now its time to pull myself up by the bootstraps and start afresh. So here's the new plan, going to start running again. I think the problem is that I need more cardio besides just the strength and muscle building. I will be pushing myself to run 4 to 5 days a week in the morning before work and in 3 days a week after work to do some exercise video. I have a plethora to choose from so I'm sure that'll keep me busy. I'll post in after a month and let you know how I'm doing. I hope to see some results this time. In the meantime I'll try not to stay in this slump even though all I feel like doing is eating another ice cream sandwich.

Week 4 Day 4

Wow almost done with month one. I have to admit I have slacked a bit. I didn't exercise on Tuesday or 2 days last week. I have a really hard time exercising for 6 days a week. I can do 5 but that sixth day I'm like ughhhh. I have noticed a difference in my backside, its defin smaller so that's a good thing. I wonder what the next month will bring? hmm. More weight loss I hope. Keep on working out my friends!

Week 3 Day 6

So I have been working my butt off this week exercising. I thought a couple times I was going to die, sweat dripping off me everywhere. Unfortunately I wasn't able to exercise Friday or today. Hopefully Sunday I can exercise because I need to make up for all the bad food and drinks I've had the past two days. But going into my fourth week and I am defin feeling better. I start working again next week so its going to be a lot harder to get the exercise in but I need to keep up with it. I'll keep you posted on how I do.

Week 2 Day 5

So I've almost completed the second week of my exercise routine. I would have to say its working. I noticed yesterday I was wearing my fave new jeans and a tank top and my muffintop defin looked smaller. Of course I still have one but its smaller! Woohoo! One of the harder workouts would have to be the sculpt video. I was beginning to wonder if we were going to work out the arms, well wonder no more. Thought I was going to die on Monday when i did it. Then my pectoral muscles were sore for 2 days. I had to do it again yesterday AND tomorrow! Today I really had to push myself b/c I really didn't feel like exercising but I want results. So I would have to say the music is fun on the videos, Leandro defin has a lot of energy. He can be a little annoying but its not bad, he reminds me of my other fave guy, Gilad. So I'm excited to see the results after a month. Once I finish the program I can start on the classic program. So I have a bout a month and a half left then I'll have to find another exercise routine. But we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Now get to work!

Week 1, Day 5

So I've been good about exercising all week and following the plan that came with Brazil Buttlift (I feel funny typing that ha). But still don't have my eating under control. For the most part I'm doing okay but not great. But one step at a time, right now just focusing on keeping up with the exercise. I like the exercises so far, I've done Bum Bum, Cardio Axe and Tummy Tuck. I'm still following the beginner girls because the others are too hard. But hopefully in a couple weeks I'll be right up there with them doing burpees and other crazy moves. So that's my update for this week I'll let you know how it goes next week.

August 2011

So I have come to the realization I need to do something before I balloon to 200 lbs. I am now at my heaviest ever 172 lbs. That's just crazy! I have had a rough year but now I'm in a new place and ready to start anew. I'm not working right now either so I really have no excuse not to exercise. I decided to try something different. Its the Brazil Butt Lift by Leandro Carvalho. I know it sounds silly but I that is my problem area and it sounds fun. Also since I'm not working me and my husband will be eating at home so I will be preparing a lot of healthy meals. My goal is to lose 5-8 lbs by our beach trip in September. I would like to say 15-20 lbs but that's not realistic and I don't want to get depressed. Eventually I want to get back to my goal weight of 140 lbs. So hopefully if I stay on schedule and stay dedicated I'll be there by the time we go on the cruise next April. But starting off with baby steps, so here we go!

Cleanse wrap-up

So just realized I forgot to mention how my cleanse went :) I did complete all 3 days of my juice cleanse. It wasn't that bad. I was never hungry, actually by the third day I could barely finish all my juices. The only juice that was truly nasty was the one I had to drink first thing in the morning. The rest were quite scrumptious. Benefits: My interiors defin felt cleansed out. I'm more regular. My eating habits did improve right after the cleanse. But now I have slid back into some old habits. I'm trying to restrict the badness though to only the weekends. During the week I try to eat healthier. Unfortunately I still haven't started exercising. Its just so cold in the morning and I'm soooo not motivated. But I think we are going to Cali in late January/early February. So since I don't want to look like a roundface teletubby I'll need to start exercising :) So on the cleanse I highly recommend it. I felt much better afterwards and I will be doing it again in the spring. I will be stepping it up though and do the next level which has more green juice. I'll let you know how I fare.
